Out of nearly 300 students screened during the EYE CAMP conducted by LIONS CLUB OF QUILANDY, 7 students found With defective eye sight were provided with suitable spects at the School Assembly on 24th July. 
Ln. Dr. E. Sukumaran continued to pay a monthly pension of Rs.1500 to the vision impaired family of Sri M.P. Gireesh, Meppayur. He is paying the pension to the family since 2016. 
Ln. Dr. E. Sukumaran continued to pay a monthly pension of Rs.1000 to the family of Sri P.M. Dinesan of Kakkodi. The husband lost his entire leg in an accident and the wife is a chronic kidney patient living on dialysis. There is no other income, except this monthly pension and help from others. 
Lions club of Quilandy took up a major prestigious project "HOME FOR HOMELESS" in 2016-17 and completed it in 2017-18 with the help of all members of LC Quilandy and their kith and kin. The newly constructed house was handed over to Ms. Kolorady Sathi and her 3 children, by our 1st Vice Dist Governor, Ln. Ganesh Kaniyarakkal, MJF, at a function arranged at the house premises on 7.4.18. The function presided over by the President Ln. Adv. T.K.G.Nambiar, was attended by the Panchayath President Shri Koomulli Karunan, Block Panchayath President , Smt. K.M.Sobha, VEO Smt. P.Santha, Lions Club members with family and a large number of general public.
